The Saudi Accreditation Center accredits laboratories in all fields according to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories). It also accredits medical laboratories according to the international standard ISO 15189 (Medical Laboratories - Requirements for Quality and Competence), which provides the customers of these laboratories with confidence in the quality of the services that these laboratories provide.
